After a restful holiday in France and consequently a lot of time to think about work, I have returned with a lot of new ideas, ways to move existing work forward and renewed energy.

While away I made some new work - drawings - and they seem to reflect all the possibilities that exist when one is removed from the everyday routine of earning a living. They are full of imaginary forms and I admit I am not sure where they came from but if enjoyment is anything to go by then they will be works I pursue for some time into the future. In fact the imagery - a combination of abstract form, animal shapes, plant life, positive and negative shapes - has enough to work with for a long while.

I am looking forward to meeting up with Ben again. his input into my practice is much needed. I hope this will be able to take place soon.
